Pallet storage shed or deck box – a simple storage idea for the backyard or RV site
Last May we had a storm (the one that blew down our trees https://youtu.be/Xuyz9M7WxzU). This storm tore the roof off the Rubbermaid shed at the in-law’s RV site. The wind stripped the small screws right out of the thin plastic and tore the doors off at the plastic tabs that were called hinges. So I decided to build them a sturdy little shed out of wood so that maybe it will last longer. This one is a little larger and sits off the ground a few inches to hopefully help with water and sand running inside as well. It started from free pallets but I did end up using a few new 2x4s and then new plywood and shingles for the outside. Hopefully this one will last!
I use the Audio Technica AT2020 XLR because I wanted to be able to record music occasionally. If you do not need that then you could just go straight for the USB version and wouldn’t need the phantom power or extra cables. The external recorder is a must when using a cell phone and will help with audio sync when editing.
